Our mission is to better the lives of people living with MS in the UAE.

Who we are

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS), which operates under the Ministry of Community Development in the UAE, is dedicated to bettering the lives of people with MS and their communities through education, advocacy, and contributing to global research for a cure.

NMSS strives to raise awareness of MS, establish a comprehensive support system for the MS community in the UAE, and provide resources to those impacted by the condition.

What We Do

NMSS is working towards creating a supportive ecosystem for the MS community in the UAE.

We do this through promoting educational and wellness programs, working hand in hand with international and regional network of partners advocating for access to better care, supporting and funding cutting edge research in the UAE and globally, and educating the public on earlier diagnosis and providing world-class care.

Deborah Dunne – Diagnosed 2010

“When newly diagnosed, you do believe that your world is going to come crashing down, so take a few breaths, speak to someone who can educate you and your family about MS, spend more quality time with your loved ones, and remember that each person with MS is different. A positive mindset helps.”
