In this video, Jahan, the co-founder of Chapters, leads a mobility flow session in collaboration with the Society. The flow is designed to be used as part of a warm-up, main exercise, or cooldown. Johan begins by guiding viewers through gentle movements like raising one heel at a time, loosening up the wrists, and performing neck rotations.
She emphasizes the importance of tucking in the chin and gently moving the head to stretch and activate the neck and upper body. The routine includes rolling down vertebrae by vertebrae, walking into a plank, and alternating between downward dog and plank positions.
Johan also demonstrates hip circles and twisting motions to release tension and stretch the body. Towards the end, viewers are guided through a series of stretches that focus on the back and ribs, with deep breathing techniques incorporated. The session concludes with a final series of stretches and an invitation to reach out to the MS Society for any questions related to mobility.
